Presentations are tailored to your specific needs and are mindful of your level of understanding. If you already have a great idea for a talk or presentation you would like me to give, you can book me now. Alternatively, I’ve listed a few topics I speak on below.

Topics for Caribbean businesses, professionals and organisations I enjoy speaking on:

  • The Old New Way – Enlightens you about how to do business with ‘humans’ online, how relationships are making a come back in business and your place in the grand scheme of things.

  • ‘Human’ Friendly Websites – I personally believe there is always room for improvement and I’m sure you do as well. Using research on website usability and online behaviour, I’ll talk about simple things you can do to improve your clients and customers’ experience with you online. Perfect for your full IT department and more importantly your webmaster, marketing professionals, PR professionals and really anyone who has a say about how your website functions.

  • Social Media in Theory & Practice – Answers the questions that are often on your mind about social media such as: What is social media? How does it work? Does it really worth all the hype, what’s so special about it? If I do want to, what are the first steps I should take?

Great topics I like to speak to everyone about:

  • Managing Your Reputation & Identity Online: For Teens – Usually teens are presumed to know almost everything when it comes to the Internet and technology in general, however, I’ve come to believe that this is usually based on their older counterparts’ ineptness in using such tools. In actuality teens don’t seem to be aware of the how to use Internet technology outside of its relevance and application to their social lives. This talk teaches online identity management by comparing it with its offline equivalent and helps teens to comprehensively understand the importance of their identity and reputation on and offline.

  • Managing Your Reputation & Identity Online: For Young Adults & Professionals – This talk takes the above issue a step further considering the online communication tools we use and the associated myths, pitfalls and benefits of them.

  • Online Safety & Protection for Children: For Parents – Children have curious minds and often this curiosity can lead them to trouble especially online. So where do you as parents draw the line? How can you protect your child(ren) without pulling the plug and still allow them the opportunity to learn and to use the medium? I will briefly answer these questions by explaining what children do online and the dangers they face as a consequence. Also, I will offer a few tips that you can use to keep them safe on the Internet. This talk is perfect for PTAs and family focused organisations such as churches.

  • Online Safety & Protection for Children: For Children – I ultimately believe that probably 99% of the solution rests with educating children rather than shielding them with computer software and other measures. Accordingly, this talk is a coming-of-age discussion for children that prepares and empowers them to protect themselves online, they’ll learn a new life skill.
